Joe Ibanez
Lead Pastor
Joe has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Theology & Ministry from Southern Nazarene University. He also has a Masters of Divinity with a special emphasis in Christian History from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Joe is a skilled communicator and teacher who has over fifteen years experience in teaching and preaching. Joe loves to hang out with his wife and kids and go hiking, biking, and or golfing for a fun and relaxing day of sabbath and restoration.

Megan Ibanez
Care Coordinator
Megan has both a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and currently works as a clinical therapist in Georgetown. Megan has a passion for connecting others to the therapeutic community and hopes that in doing so, the overall well-being of our community will be enhanced. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and baking.

Amanda Shepherd
Administrative Assistant
Amanda is our fun-loving administrative assistant! She is very outgoing and loves to help folks out, which are great traits to have in her position. When she isn't putting out fires at the office she loves bargain shopping, gathering with friends in her home, playing with her son Samuel, and spending some quality time with her husband Mike!

Dustin Dimitri
Youth & Worship Pastor
Dusty has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology & Ministry from Southern Nazarene University. Dusty has a heart for both the youth of Georgetown, TX as well as how we as a people worship God. He is an avid coffee drinker, hiker, camper and disc golfer.

John and his wife, Sheryl, came to GCN from the California Bay Area. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Nazarene University, and a Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. As a businessman, John has had his own Financial and Investment Advisory firm for over 30 years assisting families with financial decisions. As a Pastor, John has a passion for the Church to become grounded in "the ways of the Kingdom" and become that "counter-culture" expression as the Body of Christ. As for hobbies, he enjoys golf, coffee with friends, reading interesting books, or listening to Hammond Organ gospel and jazz. John and Sheryl have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Kim Janes
Children's Director
Kim has been serving in Kids Ministry for over 20 years! She has been the Children's Director at GCN since 2014. Kim and her Husband Mark have 2 children, Claire who graduated from A&M in May 2018 and is currently attending Med School in Galveston and Thomas who is working on his second year at A&M. Kim enjoys spending time with family, cooking and caring for those in need.

Jennifer Bergland
Discipleship Ministries Pastor
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Southern Nazarene University, a Masters of Arts in Educational Administration from Texas A&M, and a Masters of Arts in Applied Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. Jennifer’s passion is helping others learn how to study and apply God’s Word. Her prayer is that as people read and study the Bible, their faith will be strengthened as they experience the power of the Holy Spirit, which then compels them to share this good news with their friends and family. When Jennifer isn’t looking up Greek or Hebrew words, you might find her at the closest Sonic Drive-in getting a large unsweet ice tea.

Jessie Kopetic
Sports Ministry Pastor
Jessie graduated from Concordia University with an English degree specializing in writing. She found a true passion for ministry during her time at GCNaz. She loves helping kids and teens to find a place where they belong, and where they are free to learn and grow in their walk with God. In her free time, Jessie enjoys playing music, reading, and playing with her dogs.
