All that we do as a body at Georgetown Church of the Nazarene is meant to point toward God. As Christians we believe that one of the best ways we can point others in our community toward God is through service to those in need.

Our Service Opportunities

Here is a list of some of our service opportunities. To take part in any of these service opportunities email

  • The Locker

GCN Partnered with The Locker in 2010 to help meet the needs of underprivileged kids in our community. We've continued that service every month by gathering new items to be donated to The Locker.

  • The Caring Place

The mission of The Caring Place is to serve human needs in Georgetown and Northern Williamson County. The need is great. Everyday, staff and volunteers help people get back on their feet with basics of life: food, shelter, and clothing.

  • Bethlehem Village

Georgetown Church of the Nazarene presents a re-enactment of days gone by, 2000 years ago! Imagine a little village that existed long before colored lights, reindeer, or Santa Claus. Walk through the market place, visit the shopkeepers at the grain mill, toy shop, coin shop, bakery and pottery shop.

  • Stephen Ministry

Our church's Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. This ministry requires a formal application and 50hrs of training in providing emotional and spiritual care.

  • Haiti Mission Trip

GCNaz will be taking a mission trip to Haiti. We will be doing disaster relief through providing and installing water filters and running a kids club (VBS) for families. Click here for more info and/or to sign up.
